The Wax
The wax formulas of the Trudon candles are the fruit of specific developments which are the source of its exceptional olfactory and burning qualities. When correctly taken care of, no smoke leaves a Trudon candle and no wax is left on the sides of the glass.

The Wick
The wicks are made of cotton. One can find many types of wicks, characterized by their weaving and their diameter. The wicks are chosen depending on the shape and size of the glasses, as well as the burning characteristics of each candle.

The Emblem
Our emblem is inspired by a bas relief found at the old Royal Wax Manufacture which used to belong to the Trudon family. Situated in Antony, near Paris, it now belongs to the Church. Nowadays the domain hosts the nuns of the Saint-Joseph de Cluny congregation.

The Glass
Each glass is unique and hand-crafted in Tuscany. Their shape is inspired by champagne buckets.

1. To get the most out of your candle, we recommend burning your candle until its entire surface is liquid.

2. Do not let your candle burn for more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time during the remainder.

3. Never leave a candle burning unattended. Place your candle away from drafts. Keep your candles out of reach of children, curtains and pets.

4. If the wick becomes misaligned, gently re-center it while the wax is still melted.

5. If smoke appears, cut the end of the wick. It should always be clean and no longer than 0.5 centimeters.

6. Protect the surface on which your candle is placed (with a flat ceramic or wooden element for example).

7. To protect the glass, do not burn your candle all the way to the end, always leave at least 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax.

8. Store your candle in a dry, temperate place, between 15 and 25°C.

9. Be sure to perform your first use within 2 months of receiving your candle."
